Mimi Dubose led Georgia Southern with 20 points in a 75-62 win over Wofford at the Southern Conference women's basketball tournament Friday in Asheville, N.C.

GSU will take on the top-seeded University of Tennessee at Chattanooga today at noon.

The Eagles (10-20) never trailed after Dubose scored the first basket of the game and raced out to an 18-6 lead .

The Terriers (6-23) closed to within 37-30 by halftime and got withint four points early in the second half before GSU pulled away.

Anna Claire Knight had 15 points in the win, and Briana Jones had a double-double for the Eagles with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Jordan Frazier and Chanel Stokes led Wofford with 17 points each.

Western Carolina 77, UNC Greensboro 60

Bench player Justin Tayloer scored 11 of her 21 points in the second half to lead the Catamounts past the 10th-seeded Spartans.

WCU (14-16) will take on No. 2 seed Furman today at 4:30 p.m.

After trailing by 12 points in the first half, UNCG cut the deficit to six points with 15:50 remaining, but Taylor scored seven points in a 10-0 run to regain control for WCU.

The Catamounts shot 51.9 percent from the field and held the Spartans to 34.4 percent shooting.

Rena Wakama added 12 points for the Catamounts, and Jarae Savage led UNCG with 16.
