A 39-year-old man was shot and wounded when he was reportedly driving down the 2000 block of Maple Hills Way Tuesday night, according to Chattanooga police.

Steven Davis drove himself to a local hospital when he realized he had been shot and wounded in his left hip.

Davis' wound is a non-life threatening injury.
