Three people arrested for meth in Rhea County

DAYTON, Tenn. - Three people are in custody after a meth lab was discovered.

It happened around 3:40 Tuesday afternoon on Walnut Grove Church Road in Dayton. Samuel Cochran, Nicholas Dylan Murphy and Kristen Marcus were arrested after Rhea County officers found items related to meth manufacturing inside the home.

Acting on a tip, detectives with the Rhea County Sheriff's Office went to the home and found the three suspects on the front porch smoking marijuana. Detectives were given permission by Cochran to go inside and look around.
