Two businesses put the party on wheels

photo Pints and Pedals is a 15-seat bicycle, of sorts, that runs on pedal power. You'll board at Broad Street and M.L. King Boulevard.

No way you're getting behind the wheel as you celebrate St. Patrick's Day, but a designated driver and walking from bar to bar aren't your only other options.

This could be the weekend to try out two of the city's mini mass-transit conveyances: Pints and Pedals, a 15-seat bicycle, and the Chattanooga Double Decker bus.

¦ Pints and Pedals will be circulating downtown over four days. Hours are 6-11 p.m. Friday, March 14; 3-11 p.m. Saturday, March 15; 1-7 p.m. Sunday, March 16; and 7-9 p.m. Monday, March 17.

Cost is $25 for a single seat, $250 for a group of 10 or more.
