Bradley Central basketball coach Kent Smith confirms not to return next season

CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Bradley Central basketball coach Kent Smith, who had some health issues that caused him to take a year's leave of absence this season, confirmed Monday that he won't return to his coaching post.

Smith was 436-145 during his 17-year career, taking five separate teams to the Class AAA state tournament. He had runner-up finishes in 2000 and 2003.
