OAKWOOD, Ga. - Police probing the theft of more than $30,000 in jewelry from a northeast Georgia antiques store are searching for a suspect described as a short man who walks like a penguin.

Oakwood police Investigator Danny Sridej said the man was recently captured on video wandering around Aardvark Antiques with his hands in his pocket for about an hour.

Authorities say he waddled toward the back of the building and unlocked the latch on a roll-up door. They say the same man returned the next night on March 9, entering through the roll-up door to snatch the jewelry.

Store owner Charles Pharr tells The Times of Gainesville that he's offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
