Chattanooga Police investigate North Willow Street shooting

Chattanooga Police Officers responded to a local hospital at about 4 a.m. Thursday after learning person that had been shot.

Officers talked with Orlandas Gay, 25, who said he was walking on North Willow Street when a silver car drove past him and started shooting, according to a news release.

Gay refused to give officers any more information. He told them he did not wish to talk to police.

The victim suffered one gunshot wound to his left calf. He was treated for a non-life threating injury, the news release stated.

This is not the first time Gay has suffered a gunshot wound. In June 2011, he was shot near an apartment at 5241 Dorris St.
