Courter: Things I wish my kids would ask me

Q: Will I get to keep all of my friends after college and when I get married?

A: Probably not, and not because of anything sinister. Just like after high school, people tend to drift apart because they move to different places or because interests change. Getting married, and especially having children, introduces a new set of demands and priorities. The good news is you will meet new people with similar interests through work and day care. And, sometimes your friends don't always get along with your significant other.
