Fire destroys campers at northwest AL RV park

CHEROKEE, Ala. - Authorities say at least 11 camping trailers have been destroyed by an early-morning fire at an RV park in northwest Alabama.

WAFF-TV reports that the fire broke out early this morning at the Rose Trail RV Park and Campground a few miles outside of Cherokee in Colbert County.

Multiple fire departments responded. No injuries were immediately reported.

The state fire marshal was investigating the cause of the blaze.
