Performers from a Christian boarding school in British Columbia, Canada, will begin their spring tour Friday night, March 28, in Dunlap, Tenn., and swing through Collegedale and Chattanooga the next day for more shows of "A Mighty Fortress: A Live Concert."

The Fountainview Academy Orchestra and Singers will share stories and songs designed "to have each member of the audience leaving with a desire to better know the Savior," according to school officials.

Selections will include a variety of compositions, from standards such as "Battle Hymn of the Republic" to soul-stirring arrangements of "In the Heart of Jesus" and "Be Still, My Soul," performed to a symphonic blend of brass, strings and woodwind instruments.

The community concerts are presented by area Seventh-day Adventist churches, but only the Collegedale performances will be held on-site. The Dunlap SDA Church will present its concert at Sequatchie County High School. The East Ridge and Chattanooga First SDA churches will combine for their program at Chattanooga's First Baptist Church, Golden Gateway.

The tour features the release of the ensemble's latest DVD, "The Great Controversy," filmed on location in Europe, with landmark backdrops from Europe's Reformation history in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal and the Czech Republic.

Previous releases include "Steps to Christ," "Help in Daily Living" and "God So Loved the World."

Admission is free to each concert, though a freewill offering will be collected to sponsor the musicians' future projects.
