So far this spring, the Easter Bunny has kept a fairly low profile. Look for that to change this weekend as he makes his first appearances around the region on Saturday, March 29.

■ Easter photos at Hamilton Place: The bunny will begin his photo residency at the East Brainerd mall, 2100 Hamilton Place Blvd., on Saturday on the lower level at Center Stage.

Photo hours are the same as mall hours: 10 a.m-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon-6 p.m. Sunday. The final day for photos is Saturday, April 19.

An Easter Bunny Fast Pass, in which photo packages are paid for in advance online and waiting in line is not necessary, can be found at www.hamiltonplace.com. For more information, call 423-894-7177.

■ Easter parties at The Children's Place: Two area locations of the children's clothing retailer will host the big-eared guest of honor at Easter parties from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Besides visits with the bunny, stores will offer sweet treats and special deals.

Participating stores are at Northgate Mall, 316 Northgate Mall in Hixson (423-877-9057), and at Walnut Square Mall, 816 Walnut Square Blvd. in Dalton, Ga. (706-278-0112).
