CHICKAMAUGA, GA - UPDATE: Walker County deputies responded to 77 Mimosa Dr. Chickamauga, GA. At about 6:45 p.m. Saturday evening on a welfare check of a 75-year-old female.

Upon entering the home a Walker County Deputy located the home owner, Joyce Ann Fowler deceased in the master bedroom.

Evidence at the scene indicated Fowler died from blunt force trauma to the head.
