Stephen Bruno's two-run double to left field in the top of the ninth inning Thursday night helped the Tennessee Smokies erupt late for a 7-2 win over Chattanooga before a crowd of 3,964 at AT&T Field.
The loss was the third straight for the Lookouts, who fell to 11-15.
Tennessee broke a 1-1 tie in the sixth inning when Rubi Silva walked, took second on a hit batter, advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt and scored on Charles Cutler's sacrifice to center. The Lookouts had pulled into the tie in the fifth inning on consecutive one-out doubles to left by Chris O'Brien and Ozzie Martinez.
