The Volunteer Fair held at the 6th Cavalry Museum featured 10 nonprofits showcasing volunteer opportunities ranging from the bike patrol at the Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park to retail sales help at The Ark Resale Shop to working the concession stand for ball tournaments and food prep for the YMCA's summer food program and much more.

Volunteers Shirley and David Gasaway represented the Cherokee Trails Good Sam Club, which embraces RV fellowship by holding camp outs, social events and community volunteer activities. Over the years, the club has given thousands of hours of volunteer service throughout the region. Shirley and David worked the volunteer registration table and signed their club up for several opportunities. David also will lend his expertise to the 6th Cavalry Museum. He is a retired trucker and can't wait to work on the museum's vintage WWII vehicles.
