NASHVILLE - An alleged gang member on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Top Ten Most Wanted List has been captured in Murfreesboro on murder and other charges.

The TBI says that 24-year-old Deterines Cortae Cathey was arrested Sunday night near the campus of Middle Tennessee State University campus.

Federal Court documents accuse Cathey of being involved in a gang known as the Kitchen Crips, which is said to operate in Maury County. Cathey is accused of murder in aid of racketeering in connection with a 2009 homicide in Columbia.

Court documents don't name an attorney for Cathey.

This is the second time he was on the TBI's Most Wanted List. Federal agents captured Cathey in December after being wanted on charges in Columbia, but he was later released on bond.
