At least 1 injured in active shooter situation at Georgia college

Paine College in Augusta, Ga., is on lockdown due to an active shooter on campus, the college said this afternoon.

"This is an active shooter situation and we are barricaded in the office," a college spokesperson told Channel 2 Action News.

Today's incident took place about 1 p.m, a Richmond County sheriff's spokesman told The Augusta Chronicle. One student suffered a non life-threatening wound, the newspaper reported.
