Bill James, Jeremy Bivens will face off for Meigs County mayor in August

Bill James won the Republican primary for mayor in Meigs County with 665 votes today while Jeremy Bivens captured the Democratic primary with 400 votes.

The two will face each other in the August general election.

In today's Republican primary, Jerry Beavers had 442 votes. Jim Welch had 210 votes in the Democratic primary.
