Challenger Michael Brady leads in Grundy County Democratic mayoral primary

Early and absentee votes tallied in Grundy County show a slight edge in the contested Democratic county mayoral primary for challenger Michael Brady.

He took the early and absentee vote at with 493 votes.

Running in second is another challenger, Ralph Rieben, with 419 votes.

Incumbent Lonnie Cleek is following in third with 275 votes.

After that, the Democratic county mayoral primary goes with Wanda Meeks with 172 votes and Emily Partin with 132.

The lone Republican candidate, Aubrey Harper, has 46 votes.
