With more than half of precincts reporting, Pam Hurst has a solid lead over challenger Ryan Epperson in the race for Hamilton County Register of Deeds.
Incumbent Hurst has taken 8,437 votes, well above Epperson's 1,798. The two are facing off in the Republican primary, and the winner will be on the ballet in the general election on Aug. 7.
There is no Democratic candidate in the race.
