Henry, Tidwell and Hurst win in their primaries today

The countywide clerk races today show Larry Henry, Gwen Tidwell and Pam Hurst as winners.

In the Hamilton County Circuit Court Clerk race, Republican Commissioner Larry Henry has clenched the race with 9,136 votes. Ron Parson has 2,508 votes and Lisa Bowman has 4,217 votes. There were 28 write-in votes.

No Democrats qualified for the race, but there are 112 write-in votes.

Hamilton County Criminal Court Clerk Incumbent Gwen Tidwell won with 4,811 votes, and her Democrat challenger, Brian White, has 947 votes. There are 14 write-in votes.

The winner of that race will face Rep. Vince Dean, R-East Ridge, in the general election in August. Dean is the only Republican to qualify for the post. And there are 107 write-in votes.

Republican incumbent Register of Deeds Pam Hurst locked in with 13,001 votes. She's was being challenged by Republican Ryan Epperson, who had 2,799 votes. There were 21 write-in votes.

No Democrats qualified for the Register's office. But there are 118 write-in votes.

County Clerk Bill Knowles and Juvenile Court Clerk Gary Behler are running completely unopposed.
