Monroe County Mayor Tim Yates leads in GOP primary

Early voting numbers from Monroe County show the lead in the highly-contested Republican county mayor primary currently going to incumbent Mayor Tim Yates.

Yates has 1,457 votes at the end of early voting.

Republican challenger Bob Lovingood follows with 877. After him, it's Irad Lee with 308 and William Bell with 130.
