The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's golf team concluded its season Saturday in the NCAA West Regional.

The Mocs finished in 17th place out of the 24 teams that played the Tumble Creek Club at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Wash.

The top eight teams -- led by defending national champion Southern California, which shot a collective 12-over-par 876 -- advanced to the national championship tournament. Moving up two spots from round two, the Mocs shot a 947, five strokes behind Tennessee.

UTC sophomore Emily McLennan led the Mocs with a three-day total of 236 and a tie for 68th place. Senior Jordan Britt shot 238 and tied for 79th place in the final tournament of her college career.

USC defeated Washington by one stroke to claim the team title. Neomi Jimenez of Arizona State was the medalist at 3-under 213.
