The Chattanooga Transportation Department has announced some streets will be closed for special events today.

Market Street between East Fourth Street and East Eighth Street, East Sixth Street between Broad and Cherry, and East Seventh Street between Broad and Cherry will be closed today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the Police Memorial.

Fort Street between West 13th Street and West 14th Street will be closed today from noon until 10 p.m. for a Coker Tire event
