Catoosa County Commissioner Dewayne Hill loses seat to Ray Johnson

Catoosa County, Ga., has a new county commissioner.

Incumbent District 4 Commissioner Dewayne Hill received just under 49 percent, or 458, votes today and lost the race to challenger Ray Johnson, who received 485 votes, according to an unofficial final vote tally.

Meanwhile, incumbent District 2 Commissioner Bobby Winters handily beat back a challenge from Fred Loyd. Winters got 67 percent of the vote, or 523, to Loyd's 257 votes.
