Robert Goff making comeback in House District 1 GOP primary

In the GOP primary for state House District 1, early results show former Dade County Commissioner Robert Goff making a comeback in the three-way race with incumbent John Deffenbaugh and fellow challenger Alan Painter.

At 8:34 p.m., results showed Deffenbaugh had 548 votes compared with Goff's 458. Painter was trailing with 309 votes.
