Barbecue bragging rights up for grabs at Chattanooga Market's Beast Feast - May 25

Chattanooga Market serves up a summertime tradition of barbecue, beer and live music on Sunday, May 25, at its sixth annual Beast Feast barbecue contest at First Tennessee Pavilion, 1829 Reggie White Blvd. Several local pit masters will be competing for People's Choice and Judges' Favorite awards. Proceeds from the $1 People's Choice votes go to charity. Barbecue bites will be available from each pit master for $2, or marketgoers can purchase a full plate of their favorite for an additional charge. Chicken, pork and beef in spicy and mild varieties will be served. Offering a side of music will be Bucktown Kickback at 12:30 p.m. and Cereus Bright at 2 p.m. Admission is free.
