The foster mother of a 2-year-old girl who died under mysterious circumstances in January in Catoosa County, Ga., has been charged with murder.

Clara Louise Edwards, the foster parent Saharah Weatherspoon, has been charged with murder after the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Medical Examiner's Office notified the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office that the cause of death was "craniocerebral trauma," or brain trauma, and it was a homicide.

Edwards was located in Tennessee, and arrested by Catoosa County fugitive investigators, as well as Chattanooga police.

Edwards was taken to the Hamilton County Jail to await extradition to Georgia.

The Sheriff's office had no additional details on the cause of death, said Catoosa County Sheriff Gary Sisk.
