POLK COUNTY, TN - UPDATE: Highway 411 in Old Fort is back open after a serious accident Saturday morning.

The call came in just after 11:00 a.m. of a head-on collision. A Lincoln LS driven by 51-year-old Terry Rabbitt of Florida was driving north on Highway 411 when he crossed over into the southbound lane and hit a Chevy Cavalier.

Rabbitt told officers, his dog jumped into his lap distracting him. The driver of the Cavalier, 73-year-old Elsie Wooten was taken by air to the hospital.
