Kenneth Hatfield and Rebecca Jones

A two-year old from McMinn County is responding better than expected, after ingesting a pill last month. Now the child's parents face charges.

Kenneth Hatfield and Rebecca Jones, turned themselves in to police on a grand jury indictment, Tuesday.

Both are charged with child abuse and neglect, and aggravated child endangerment. Jones is also charged with aggravated child abuse.
