Birmingham Barons clip Chattanooga Lookouts

Daniel Wagner drew a bases-loaded walk off Juan Noriega in the bottom of the ninth inning to cap Birmingham's comeback for a 4-3 win over visiting Chattanooga on Wednesday.

Noriega entered the game to replace Juan Gonzalez, who loaded the bases with one out. Chattanooga (20-33) took a 3-0 lead in the fifth inning, with Darnell Sweeney's double to right scoring Chris O'Brien and Casio Grider.

Birmingham pulled within 3-1 in the seventh inning and then tied it in the eighth when Christian Marrero walked and Wagner and Chris Curley singled.

Game four of a five-game series at Birmingham is tonight at 8:05 EDT.

Andres Santiago (1-3, 5.70) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Scott Snodgress (2-3, 4.44) scheduled for the Barons.
