KNOXVILLE - Policed are investigating a fatal crash involving two vehicles on Chapman Highway near Kay's Ice Cream.
The crash was reported at 11:45 a.m. and it appears one person was ejected onto the roadway near the intersection with Lindy Drive.
The crash involved a northbound GMC Yukon and a Chevrolet Aveo. Police said it appears the driver of the Aveo was attempting to cross Chapman Highway when struck by the white Yukon.
