One person was injured in a shooting near the campus of Tennessee Temple University this morning.
Police responded to 2113 Kirby Avenue around midnight.
34-year-old Joshua Fleetwood was shot once in his left leg, according to a news release from the police department. He was taken to the hospital; his injury is believed to be non-life threatening.
Fleetwood told police he was shot by an unknown suspect who fled in a dark colored sedan.
