BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Chattanooga Lookouts fought back twice from deficits and edged the Birmingham Barons 5-4 in a 10-inning Southern League baseball game Friday night.

Christian Marrero's two-run home run to right field in the seventh inning broke a 2-2 tie and seemed ready to catapult Birmingham (23-32) to a fourth consecutive win over Chattanooga. But the Lookouts (21-34) had tied the game earlier in the seventh on a homer to center by Scott Schebler, and they tied it again in the eighth on a leadoff homer to left by O'Koyea Dickson and Brian Cavazos-Galvez's single and advancement on a wild pitch, a throwing error and a Noel Cuevas groundout.

Then Cuevas got Schebler home with another groundout in the top of the 10th, and Juan Ramon Noriega came in to pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom half and got the last two outs on strikeouts. Dickson went 3-for-5 while Schebler was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and Cavazos-Galvez and Casio Grider each was 2-for-5 for the Lookouts.

Game one of a five-game home series against Mobile at AT&T Field is tonight at 7:15. Nick Struck (1-3, 5.92 ERA) is scheduled to start on the mound for the Lookouts, with Bradin Hagens (3-2, 2.66) scheduled for the BayBears.
