Correction

The original version of this article incorrectly stated the date the on-ramp was set to open. It will open on Thursday morning.

The on-ramp to U.S. Highway 27 north from Manufacturers Road will reopen Thursday morning, a news release states.

The northbound ramp closed in June of 2012 as part of the massive reconstruction of U.S. 26 between the Olgiati Bridge and Signal Mountain Road.

Jennifer Flynn, spokeswoman for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, said the signal that has been blinking red at the intersection on Manufacturers Road will be activated at 9 a.m. Thursday to control traffic on the road and the U.S. 27 entry and exit ramps.

She said motorists are advised to be alert to the new traffic pattern.
