• The Sartain family reunion is Saturday, Nov. 29, from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at 472 Loughridge Lane in LaFayette, Ga. Relatives are invited to bring finger foods and family information to share in honor of Uncle Sim, who wrote the history of Walker County and was a state legislator, professor and county school superintendent. The reception desk in the renovated LaFayette Walker Library is being donated by Sartain family members in honor of Uncle Sim, so donations will be received at the reunion.
