Georgia's Todd Gurley out for the season with torn ACL

An MRI performed on Georgia junior tailback Todd Gurley confirmed a torn ACL in his left knee, the university announced today.

Gurley's injury occurred in the fourth quarter of Saturday night's 34-7 victory

over Auburn, a game in which he had 29 carries for 138 yards. A surgery date has not yet been determined according to Georgia director of sports medicine Ron Courson.

Bulldogs coach Mark Richt is expected to address the media this evening on a conference call.
