The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has climbed to No. 20 in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association poll. The three-spot move follows last week's championship at the Navy Classic. The Mocs, 3-0 in dual meets, won't be back in competition until a 2 p.m. Dec. 12 home meet against Purdue. Three Mocs are ranked nationally: Corey Mock (12th at 165 pounds), Nick Soto (16th at 133) and Sean Boyle (17th at 125). Mock is currently under athletic department suspension.

Football

• Junior defensive back Alex Kops represented Sewanee on the All-Southern Athletic Association football first team released Tuesday, and Tigers kicker Callum Wishart from Ooltewah, running back Devante Jones and offensive lineman Tanner Potts were second-team selections. Sewanee's Brandon Miller, Lonnie Scott, Tony Dykes, John Paul McConnell and De'Nard Ford and Berry quarterback Dale Jackson from Fort Payne received honorable mention. Kops averaged 6.3 tackles a game from his rover position, with 14 against Washington & Lee, and Jones led the SAA in yards per carry at 7.1. Wishart made six of nine field-goal tries, and his 39-yarder at Randolph-Macon was the longest by an SAA kicker this season.

Basketball

• Georgia Northwestern freshman guard Ashley Farrell from Gordon Central was the GCAA Division III women's basketball player of the week, and GNTC freshman guard Cameron Sherlin from Heritage High was the men's honoree. Farrell averaged 15 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals per game last week and had 18 points with five 3-pointers against Truett-McConnell. Sherlin had eight 3s and 29 points against the Bryan junior varsity and averaged 19 points, 3.3 assists and 2.6 steals for the week.

• Ladaris Green had 20 points and 12 rebounds and Jordan Bowling scored 17 points as Dalton State improved to 6-0 for its men's basketball season with an 80-65 win over Tennessee Temple on Tuesday at the NorthWest Georgia Trade and Convention Center. Preston Earle and Sean Tate added 12 and 11 points for the Roadrunners, and Anthony Hilliard had nine rebounds with nine points. Bryan Jones had 15 points and seven rebounds for Temple.

• Tennessee Wesleyan split an Appalachian Athletic Conference basketball doubleheader Tuesday against visiting Union College. The TWC women went to 9-0 overall and 5-0 in the league with a 72-44 win, but the Union guys outscored Wesleyan 95-87 as J.D. Tucker scored 25 points and Deante Johnson had 21 points and nine rebounds. Dante Turnipseed scored 19 points, Stephen Kite Jr. scored 15 and Devante Jenkins had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the TWC men (4-4, 2-3). Jenna Adams' 19 points and 17 rebounds paced the Wesleyan women, who got 12 points from Shira Buley, 10 points and four assists from Melanie Barker and 10 rebounds with nine points from Armeka Booker.

• Despite 28 points by Colton McGriff, the Covenant men's basketball team lost 76-68 to visiting Oglethorpe on Tuesday. Nate Frierson and Connor Sears scored 12 and 11 points for Covenant, and Z Arima had four assists and three steals. Connor Smith scored 24 points with four 3s for the Stormy Petrels (5-1).

• Emma Cook scored 16 points and Valerie McLure and Chanlir Segarra had 14 and 10 points and four and eight assists as Berry College routed visiting Covenant 88-55 in NCAA Division II women's basketball Tuesday. Liz Dougherty led the Lady Scots (0-5) with 14 points, and Morgan Woodward had 10 points and three steals.

• Peyton Luken and Chase England scored 22 points apiece with seven and three assists as Piedmont won 79-62 in NCAA Division III basketball Tuesday night at Sewanee. Jorden Williams scored 21 points with three 3-pointers and Keshonn Carter added 11 points for Sewanee (1-2).
