Coastal Carolina cruised into the final of the Battle 4 Atlantis Mainland event at McKenzie Arena on Wednesday, defeating Louisiana-Monroe 61-48.

The Chanticleers (4-1) will face UTC in the championship game today at 2:30. They never trailed Wednesday, building a 10-point halftime lead and leading by as many as 18 in the second half.

Coastal was led by Josh Cameron's 17 points off the bench, with Shivaughn Wiggins and Warren Gillis adding 11 and 10 points. The team had only five turnovers.

"That was the big key," Chanticleers coach Cliff Ellis said. "We did some good things offensively, and played good enough defense. We had a tremendous amount of respect for Louisiana-Monroe after what they'd done against Florida and UAB."

Majok Deng had 14 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks for the Warhawks (2-2). Justin Roberson added 11 points.
