Man arrested, charged in 'love triangle' slaying in Jackson County

A Stevenson, Ala., man is jailed on murder charges in the slaying of another man Thursday night.

Sheriff Chuck Phillips said David Hutchins, 43, of Stevenson, is charged with murder in the death of 32-year-old Hollywood, Ala., resident Christopher Paul Timberlake.

Phillips said the incident happened over a love triangle with Hutchins allegedly shooting Timberlake with a shotgun, leaving him dead on the porch at Hutchins' home.

Hutchins is being held without bond at the Jackson County Jail. No court date has been set.
