'Figuratively Speaking' focuses on human figure - Oct. 3

Paintings by James Tucker, such as "Yellow Taxi," left, and sculpture by Maria Willison, such as this female torso, right, are featured in "Figuratively Speaking," an exhibit opening Friday, Oct. 3, at Northshore Gallery of Contemporary Art, 505 Cherokee Blvd. An opening reception will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. All of the works in the show focus on the human figure.
