Nick AfricanoBrooklyn, N.Y.-based singer/songwriter Nick Africano, fresh from a summer residency at Manhattan's Rockwood Music Hall, will perform in Athens, Tenn., on Saturday, Oct. 11, as part of a cross-country prerelease tour for his as-yet-untitled second album. The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. in the Sue E. Trotter Theater at The Arts Center, 320 N. White St. Africano's genre-bending vocals shift among powerhouse arena rock, mid-1960s Motown soul and the early years of Elvis Presley. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students.
