Good Deed: Free medical care was true community collaboration

In September, Remote Area Medical (RAM) provided 1,054 patients free medical, dental and vision services. Numerous people came together to fulfill patients' needs. Hamilton County Department of Education administration offered the use of Ooltewah High School and the assistance of JROTC and Leadership students. The Center for Sports Medicine, Vision Hospitality and WRCB TV 3 provided support as major partners. Twenty-four organizations donated resources; and 19 institutions, professional programs and companies donated services for the greater good of our community. On behalf of the patients and the entire RAM organization, we wish to thank everyone mentioned for their compassion, contributions and generosity.
