A student at the University of Tennessee reported Sunday she was sexually assaulted by a stranger Sunday in the Alumni Memorial Building, next to Neyland Stadium, around the time of the UT-Utah State football game.
The report comes just days after another student reported she was assaulted in a west campus dormitory by a guest last week.
Neither woman is pursuing formal charges, though UT Police Chief Troy Lane said his department is investigating Sunday's incident as thoroughly as possible. Lane said authorities received the report toward the end of the game and estimate the attack would have happened around 6:30 p.m. or 7 p.m., which was the kickoff time for the unusual Sunday football game.
