Music, camping at Meltasia festival - Sept. 5-7

Legendary Southern rock band Black Oak Arkansas is among 70-plus acts set for the Meltasia Music Festival this weekend at Cherokee Farms, 2035 Old Mineral Springs Road in LaFayette, Ga.

Also in the lineup on the site’s three stages are The Black Lips, Nik Turner’s Hawkwind, Cherie Currie (of The Runaways) and Gringo Star.

Music starts at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, and at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 6-7. Box office opens an hour earlier.

Passes are $125 for three days, $85 for two days, $65 for one day. Camping is included.
