There are still good people in the world. My daughter, who teaches at Ganns Middle Valley Elementary School, said the principal came to her room and wanted her to meet someone. The woman did not want to give her name but wanted to thank the teachers for all they do and tell them she appreciated them. Then she handed her $100. She went to every teacher in that school, thanked them personally and gave each teacher a $100.
Most people teach because they love the job. I'm afraid that one day we will look around and wonder where all the good teachers have gone.
There are people around who care more than we know. Thank you to the person who had the means to let teachers know we do care about them.
