Vols vs. Dogs a noon game on Sept. 27

The Sept. 27 football game between the Tennessee Volunteers and the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens will kick off at noon on ESPN.

Next week's Southeastern Conference television lineup was announced Monday, with CBS picking up Arkansas vs. Texas A&M in Arlington, Texas, as its 3:30 telecast. ESPN will show Missouri at South Carolina at 7.

This will be the first game between the Volunteers and Bulldogs televised by ESPN since 2006, when Tennessee went to Sanford Stadium and prevailed 51-33. Four of the games since have been televised by CBS, two on the former SEC Network and one on ESPN2.

Georgia has won four straight in the series and is 10-4 since ending a nine-game losing streak to the Vols in 2000. A win by the Bulldogs next week would knot the series at 21-21-2.
