Chattanooga Market promises to be a little spicy, a little messy, and a whole lot of fun this Sunday, Sept. 21, as the market celebrates Scenic City Wings. Seven local eateries will compete for the best wings title.
This year's contestants are Chattanooga Wing Co., The Honest Pint, Public House, Alchemy Spice, Keller's, Diamond Billiard Club and T.Mac. A $10 ticket lets folks sample wings from all the competing restaurants.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
"Scenic City Wings is such a fun opportunity for the Chattanooga Area Food Bank," says Marisa Ogles, the organization's director of development. "While our community is eating great food from the local wing chefs on Sunday, they will also be giving back and helping us provide food to the people in our area who struggle with hunger."
Entertainment will be provided by Mark Garrison at 12:30 p.m., and Roxie Randle will follow at 2:30 on the EPB Stage.
