An inmate committed suicide and was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to Janice Atkinson, public information officer for the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department.
Justin Bradley, who is charged with criminal homicide in the August death of his girlfriend's child, was rushed to Erlanger hospital early this morning while CPR attempts were in progress, according to hospital records obtained by the Times Free Press.
Bradley, 23, was being held in the Hamilton County Jail after allegedly beating his girlfriend's three-year-old son, Dakota Arndt, to death on Aug. 27.
He was arraigned on Sept. 5 and was scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 30 for a preliminary hearing in the case.
