The popularity of our original “Best of the Best Chattanooga” has continued to grow since its inception in 2008. We have been amazed at the readership of the section and the response from our community. And now, North Georgia… it’s your turn. Not only will this section show your fellow residents who you chose as the best but even our Tennessee, Alabama and North Carolina readers will now see your top choices as well. From dining to snacks, from repairs to services to health and beauty, from locations to activities, we hope all our readers will try some of these North Georgia favorites. Only votes submitted for businesses with a location in Catoosa, Walker, Whitfield, Murray and Dade counties were permitted.

The “Best of the Best North Georgia” People’s Choice Awards gives readers of the Chattanooga Times Free Press an opportunity to let everyone know who their favorite businesses are. After ballots were cast throughout the months of November and December, results were tabulated both electronically and through a third party, non-profit agency. This section marks the first time the results have been made public.

Some of the businesses within are examples of history in the making. Others have maintained their popular reputations in the community for many years. Several are new and exciting examples of the creativity and potential of our growing community.

So, as you read through this list of winners, consider visiting the ones you don’t always visit. Try new places and have new experiences.

Thank you to the thousands of readers who voted to make this event an overwhelming success. As always, our readers continue to amaze us with their support and loyalty. And to the winners, congratulations for being voted one of the “Best of the Best” in North Georgia.
