Ah, Thanksgiving. This holiday marks the transition into my least favorite holiday of the year (christmas) and seems somewhat like a non-holiday to celebrate (why shouldn't we give thanks everyday?) but whatever. I'll bite. As a music fan, I've assembled some of my favorite songs from artists I'm thankful for on this day of thanks. Here's to Gillian Welch, Bob Dylan, John Hartford and Antony and the Johnsons. Thanks.
The Oak Ridge Boys are at the Chattanooga Memorial Auditorium tonight. Tickets are available a the Memorial Auditorium box office. Showtime is 8pm.
Christian arts Jim Brickman is performing at the Tivoli Theater on Sunday, the 29th. Tickets are also available at the Memorial Auditorium.
Next Thursday, the Meat Puppets, Pezz and the Dexateens are performing at Rhythm & Brews. Showtime is 8pm.
Have a great Thanksgiving weekend.
